Here’s a post i wanna make on tiktok. It’s text but I put a pic in the background:

> What’s helped me with procrastination is learning that it’s ok to not want something. It’s ok to not want to start an activity, project, assignment, routine, etc. It’s ok cuz not wanting to do those is valid. Valid means there’s a reason for it or it makes some sense. What makes sense is that it could be difficult to start, boring to continue, or time consuming to finish. After realizing that, finding a solution became easier. It would make the work simpler, faster, or more enjoyable.

What I don’t know(WIDK) like what I’m unsure of:

I don’t if I should say in the first sentence, “what’s hleped me DEAL with procrastination.” Idk if people can pick that up. I don’t know if it’s ok after “that” in the first sentence that it’s ok to not want SOMETHING. I don’t know if it’s easy to pick that the wanting is important not the “something.”

In the second sentence, idk if I should say use a category(?) word to describe what I’m talking about instead of all those examples and etc. Im saying all those examples to help create a picture.

When I say this:

> Valid means there’s a reason for it or it makes some sense.

Idk if makes sense is ok to use cuz that makes me think of using logic not reasoning. Idk I thoguht the saying, “that makes sense.” could mean, “that’s reasonable.”

When I say this:

> What makes sense is that it could be difficult to start, boring to continue, or time consuming to finish.

Idk if I should use a category word instead of listing all those examples. I wanted to list those examples so people can picture what I’m talking about. I have a feeling I could lose them.

When I say this at the end:

> It would make the work simpler, faster, or more enjoyable.

I don’t if saying, “the work” is going to lose the audience in what I’m trying to refer to. Before that I made it say “things” instead of “the work” I wanted to be more general.

The description looks like this:

> .
>
> .
> #procrastination #deepthoughts **#philosophy**
> Credit to a philosophy called Critical Fallibilism(aka CF) for the kinds of ideas presented here. You can think of procrastination like a yin yang. Just as one side is dark and the other is light, one side could be finishing that assignment while the other is slacking off to chill or have fun. The two sides conflict but are both valid–they make sense to an extent. If you find what is called a win/win solution, you can get your assignment done AND do it in an enjoyable way. The solution may vary for you depending on your situation.
>
> This topic in phillosophy is called, “Resolving Conflicting Ideas,” and is what CF has developed on. If you’d like to know more about the topic search, “Resolving Conflicting Ideas,” on the internet. You’ll find the correct article cuz it has the philosophy’s name to it. I don’t have a link in bio set up so that’ll do.

In the second sentence, I say:

> You can think of procrastination like a yin yang. Just as one side is dark and the other is light, one side could be finishing that assignment while the other is slacking off to chill or have fun.

Idk about telling people that they can think of procrastinatino like that. I just think it could be a cool thing to try out. It sounds like I know exactly what I’m talking about and I feel somewhat unsure. Also there can be more than two sides to conflicting ideas not just two.

Also, that first paragraph sounds like CF is saying that but that’s I think my take. I just wanted to give the audiience a way to think about conflicting ideas and maybe that’ll help if they view the topic on their own.

In this part of the description:

> The two sides conflict but are both valid–they make sense to an extent.

Idk to what extent the ideas can make sesne. I thought “to an extent.” may be ok?

In the last sentence of the first paragraph, I say this:

> The solution may vary for you depending on your situation.

Idk how it may vvary, but I thought it was important to say so it doesn’t seem like a solution would work for everyone.

In the last paragaraph I say this:

> This topic in phillosophy is called, “Resolving Conflicting Ideas,” and is what CF has developed on.

I don’t if it was correct to say that CF has developed on the topic. Didn’t it make the topic? I thought it was a topic that was discussed before CF was made.

In the last sentence of the second paragraph:

> You’ll find the correct article cuz it has the philosophy’s name to it. I don’t have a link in bio set up so that’ll do.

I don’t have a link in bio set up on tiktok. I thought maybe I could link them to my instagram and set up a link in bio there. I could direct the audience there.

Edit: I forgot to do an editing pass mb

I don’t remember what I was trying to say here. I think the jist is that if this

> [@Dface](#):
>
> What’s helped me with procrastination is learning that it’s ok to not want something.

makes the point that the wanting is important. Not the something part. Like I wonder if the audience would get that.

I meant to say “if it’s easy to pick **up** that.”

> [@Dface](#):

I meant to put quotes around, “makes sense.” Idk why I forget.

Without the use of a category. Like, people wouldn’t relate to the examples I put out.

> [@Dface](#):
>

Not that it sounds like I feel unsure, but that I’m actually unsure about what people could do.

I think a lot of ppl on tiktok use a link tree in their bio. I don’t think you should link tiktok people to just your instagram.

Ok, I’ll look into that. I know there’s options for setting up a link tree in ur tiktok bio
