Dface's Discussion of "Judging and Fixing Your Own Errors"

Imma write about the collapsed paragraph below:

The paragraph

The last sentence of the paragraph:

What does “manage” mean here?

It seems that people set up that one broad, singular goal then they try to manage it… Oh, they manage the project to achieve the goal.

I think the fact that there’s a project and there’s only one goal tells me something important. A project is made of steps and there could be errors in the project. You only have that one goal and if you run into an error then what’s going to happen? That goal may fail cuz of an error.

Idk how thinking of many clear goals fits here. I think if you have more goals then in the dinner-aquiring project then you would know where the error is causing failure. Idk for sure

I think that the one goal of getting dinner doesn’t have clear success or fail lines. Like, it doesn’t say what’s good about the dinner. The goal isn’t doing its job very well.
