# Following Along Async Tutoring \[Dface\]

I hope it’s ok if I do test weekly too and if it’s appropriate to write it here.

I’ve been typing on [https://monkeytype.com/](https://monkeytype.com/) lately. It was once a day starting to weeks ago, but I stopped cuz I wasn’t feeling well. I started again today and here is my stats for today(200 common words test, 15 seconds):

I did 57 attempts in the span of like 17 mins.

When I start, I try to type really fast the first few tests. After that I try to type slower. I saw a suggestion that I could type slower and focus on accuracy. Suggestion below(ET talking to @Eternity on [Eternity Async Tutoring](https://discuss.criticalfallibilism.com/t/eternity-async-tutoring/1932/49)):

I see that I could autopilot the typing when doing it slowly and I don’t mess up as much.

Sometimes I talk to myself or hum a song in my head and can still type ok at a low speed. I don’t know if that’s appropriate like if I have to focus entirely on the typing. It helps me though cuz I don’t worry too much about messing and take my mind off making mistakes.
