General Philosophy Questions

I was thinking about this quote and wondering.

Will we always live in an inadequate world? Is being in an inadequate world good thing? It’s like being at the beginning of infinity. There’s always more potential for progress. No matter how many problems we solve there will always be infinitely more. We can never be sure of the severity of the risks of what we don’t know about. There may always be unknown existential risks. No matter how fast the rate of progress gets, we would want it to be much faster. We will always want the transmission of new ideas from the innovators to the people who need to know to be faster. We’ll always want to be improving our allocation of resources and so on.
