@CorentinBiteau, would you agree with the following argument (which I’ve attempted to base off the quoted paragraph)?
- Humans share a lot of evolutionary history with animals.
- If two groups share a lot of evolutionary history, then it is a reasonable default expectation that the two groups will share the same abilities.
- Humans have the ability to experience emotions.
- Therefore, it is reasonable to expect that animals have the ability to experience emotions.
