It surprises me that you find this surprising.

Loneliness is very commonly associated with problematic “nice guy” behavior and with “incels”. Those kinds of people are associated with domestic violence, including sexual assaults and rape (which you’ve already indicate you always consider “violence”, so I assume that means even the kind that doesn’t involve physical force or threats of force, which is what some – but not all – of the “nice guy” rapes are). They also commit murders.

For example, here is the first paragraph of Elliot Rodger’s “manifesto”, in which he explicitly references his own loneliness (he wrote this before murdering 6 people and injuring 14):

Humanity… All of my suffering on this world has been at the hands of humanity, particularly women. It has made me realize just how brutal and twisted humanity is as a species. All I ever wanted was to fit in and live a happy life amongst humanity, but I was cast out and rejected, forced to endure an existence of loneliness and insignificance, all because the females of the human species were incapable of seeing the value in me.

I am not going to link the manifesto, but it is easy to find. I have not read the whole thing, and I don’t care to. But I think it was fairly clear in the things that he posted that he views his own loneliness (which he blames on women) as a cause (I think the main cause) of his actions.
