# Plugin for making posts in unbounded uneditable or removing the edit-grace-period?

It seems like posts on the forum are editable, without creating an edit log, for a short while (like 2m). IMO that is good for many posts (like those in #friendly), but mb unbounded would be better without the grace period, or without edits? still: transparency re edits is better than no transparency, so I don’t think it’s that big a deal. Thought the idea was worth asking about.
[IME](https://meta.discourse.org/t/better-anonymous-multiple-anonymous-accounts-and-other-features/203367) Discord plugins have a good chance of being p easy to write. I’m willing to take a look if a feature like this would be useful, and write it if it’s not too time consuming.
