I’d like practice breaking things down into parts. I’d like to do it with common activities people do, stuff I look up online, and my own personal things.
Goal:
I’d like to break things down in that are easy to do and in general. Id like breaking stuff down in my life like problems or activities. At some point I’d like to break stuff down related to my Anxiety.
Pillow(s), blanket(s), fitted sheet, and mattress.
Breaking things down like this makes sense if we’re talking about a bed that’s been made. Also, if we’re talking about what someone would need to sleep, it could be good. Maybe they dont necessarily need a fitted sheet or a pillow but it could still be on a checklist of theirs.
If the pic is hard to see, these are the order items on screen:
1 5PC Tenders
Spicy
5 Spicy Tender PC
2 Honey Mustard Sauce
I’d like to break down the order screen organization… I honestly forgot what that means. I dont know how to break down the organization of something. I think if I know the parts of an organization then i could find out.
I looked a little bit what an organization is on merriam webster, but Id like to use my intuitive sense of that word. I think the organization would be like the entree of a menu item, its sides, its sauces, what flavor, and how many pieces of the entree. Are those the parts of the order screen organization? Not sure
In the pic, I could break stuff down by color. What items are black and what items are blue? The name of the meal or menu item is black. The parts that are nested in that item are blue. Thinking in parts like this could help if you’re trying to only pack one menu item at a time. Are you missing a blue part? If yes then youre not doing packing that part of the order.
Edit: the last sentence is supposed to say “done packing” and not “doing packing”
The order in the pic seems to be made of four parts. The parts are the entree or menu item, the flavor of the entree(spicy, original, or dry rub), the flavor and number of pieces and flavor of entree, and the sauce.
Breaking down the order into parts like in the paragraph above can help if you’re a worker at Church’s and you’re trying to pack the right order. If you wanna know what item menu, flavor of item, and what sauce you need then you could break it down into the four parts.
However, what workers usually do is just break stuff down into two parts. They look at the last two lines to know what to pack. The first part is what menu item, how many pieces of the entree, and what flavor entree. The second part is what sauce and how many.
The problem with the last paragraph’s way of breaking stuff down is that workers(including me) sometimes don’t know there’s duplicates. Like, instead of the “1” on the first line of the order, you could see a 2 or 3. You could miss that you need to make one or two more of the same item.
