In this article, I explain why I’m suspicious of people who like BoI a lot more than FoR, or who have read BoI but not FoR. I advise that, for new readers, FoR should be read before BoI, and that the books need to be read visually (not as audio books) if you want to understand much. And I give some reading recommendations for where to start for people who want to learn philosophy (FoR isn’t the best place to get started).
