I see the sentence starts with, “But.” Does that indicate a contrast? I think it does. It’s a contrast between the last two sentences about throwing the ball within arms reach. Now, you’re trying to throw the ball at an exact location. Thats different.

Here’s the goal: Throw the ball at… wait I see that in the quote, the goal has the adjective, “a.” I don’t think we’re talking about a specific goal. We haven’t described the exact spot yet.

Idk how you would describe the location of the air in front of your throw partner. That sounds more complicated. Like, if I were to make an exact goal, it would be kind of hard.

So you can be as precise as a millimeter. Like, I think that means if you’re aiming for the ball to be 70 millimeters in front of your partner, it can probably be 70.1 millimeters? If you round tht it’s not 71 or 69 millimeters.

If im right about the millimeter precision thing, then that’s similar to throwing the ball within arm’s reach of your partner. You throw the ball in both scenarios to be within a range of measurement.

You can also have the goal to throw the ball like this:

That’s like throwing the ball at literally 70.000000… millimeters in front of your partners face. That sounds impossible to get right once let alone practice.
