Take an integer number line (from -5 to 5 is enough) and draw arrows from each number to what it maps to when multiplied by negative 1.

I didn’t draw an arrow for 0, but it stays 0.

Yeah. So can you describe what you’re doing to the number line when you multiply by -1?

It’s like rotating the number line 180 degrees around the point 0.
