Practice Adding 1 and 2 Digit Numbers[Dface]

Project Summary:
Practice adding any range of addends that satisfy the condition in the title(e.g. 10-19 and 1-9 or 20-29 and 1-9). Take pics of first two set of problems, practice for ten minutes, then try adding the first two set of problems again and compare results.
Goal:
Get more consistent and/or faster answers
Success criteria (& optional failure criteria):
Get a faster time on the first 2 set of problems(50 problems in total) after practice. Optional failure criteria is get a problem wrong.
Big picture goal, why you want to do this, or CF relevance:
Learn small skills, work to bigger skills, and learn more about practice.
Plan:

  1. Go to Addition Worksheet Generator
  2. Fill out what addends I want to add
  3. generate worksheet of 25 problems
  4. time myself on the first two worksheets and take pics of them for later
  5. practice for 10 minutes
  6. finish the first two worksheets again
  7. time myself again on the first two worksheets and compare

Addends to add: 10-19 and 1-9

Time of first two sets before practice: 40.67. seconds(missed one problem)
Time of first two sets after practice: 39.16 seconds(missed none)

Success criteria (& optional failure criteria):

I got a faster time the second time around. I think for optional failure criteria I should’ve been more clear like if I missed one more problem on the second time around then that means failure. Besides that I got the success criteria.

Goals:

It felt faster adding the first two worksheets the second time around.
Other notes:
I got stuck on one problem after practice but I gave myself time to figure it out and say the right answer. Sometimes, on a problem, I stutter and almost say the wrong answer, but my final answer ends up being right. I don’t know if I should count 1 against myself when I do that.
